Release notes version 2.5.1

Disclaimer

USE THIS PROGRAM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Although I am a professional software-engineer, I am still human and therefore can make many mistakes, please remember this was my first attempt at creating a Macintosh application, and it is therefore my first application written in Cocoa and Objective-C (taking hello world aside of course). However, rest assure I tested this program thoroughly.

Weather information

All weather data shown, is provided by weather.com and any incorrectness in it is not a fault of WeatherDock.

A Bigger 'Please note'; it is weather information and there is nothing more changeable as the weather. For information on the accurateness of the weather information please research the information at http://www.weather.com, in any case don't blame the weatherman.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed automatic updates in Work/Home feature
  • Fixes to the English and Dutch localization

Thanks

Many thanks go to my friend and colleague Donald Vrakking, who took the time in testing this program and supplying me with great ideas for features that make the WeatherDock to what it is today.

Also worth mentioning are all the people who took the time in using the WeatherDock application and providing me with feedback, special thanks go to Massimiliano Origgi, Lemaxou and Eerko Vissering who previewed and tested the 2.0 version.

Thanks also go to everyone sending feedback on released versions, when feasable and in someway useful I try to incorporate all of your requests. (And since version 100 is still far away, more feedback is always welcome).

Feedback

If you want to report any bugs, place a feature request, or donate a lot of money :-) please contact me at weatherdock@alwintroost.nl. Please check http://weatherdock.alwintroost.nl first for the latest version or any other information that may solve any problems.
