Using drag & drop to filter through your data
Froq 2 contains many drag & drop features,
that provide you with an ability to speedily navigate through your data.
Filter your resultset
Once you have a resultset loaded, you could use the filtering options in the QuickFilter area to filter your results, but you can filter even quicker. If you see a value, on which you would like to filter, you can drag that cell onto the QuickFilter area and the resultset will be filter on that value. You can extend the QuickFilter with as much filters as you wish this way.
If you wish, you can also perform a 'negative drop',
hold the Option-key before you start dragging and drop it onto the QuickFilter. When doing so, the dropped item will be filtered out of the resultset.
Filter on other tables
When you have a resultset loaded,
you can use these results to filter other tables.
You can drag a result to an other table in the left browser,
If the receiving table has a column with the same name,
or column linked via referential constraints,
then the other table will be opened and will be filtered on the desired column.
